Hey folks...

We had a great guest lined up for an interview this week about D&D 4th Edition until the dreaded NDA reared it's ugly head. We hear that the NDA will be featured in the new Monster Manual along with classic monsters Bloodsucking Lawyer and the evil Can't Take a Joke.

So, we've postponed the interview until our Worldwide D&D Day Special Episode coming up on June 7th. D&D 4th Ed premieres on the 6th of June and we'll have some quick feedback as well as that interview. On the 7th, we'll all be at Dr. No's Comics and Games playing the new D&D and recording our session. If you're in the Atlanta area that weekend and want to come hang out, we'll see you there!

Festivus 2007 - Republish!!!

Big, big mistake on my part. The mp3 of the Festivus episode included the raw audio from our recording, not the edited version. So, for academic curiosity, you can see what our pre-game conversations are like and keep the previous version. For the sake of people who would actually like to hear what we meant to put up (especially without the swearing) here's the real deal. Again, music included in this ep. is by Jonathan Coulton. The first song is "Podsafe Christmas" and the second is "Chiron Beta Prime."

Error in Episode #19

Eating too much Halloween candy makes you ill - and the sugar crash means the podcast came out a bit later than we'd hoped. Still, we think the games in this episode are great for any time of the year where scaring people (or making people squirmily uncomfortable) is appropriate.

In this episode, an overview of gaming news, followed by some snap (and not-so-snap) judgements of World of Darkness products, Cthulhu-themed games, plus a few free games to download and print-out!

Hey everybody out there in Podcast land!

The show went long this week with our discussion of Dragon Con, so we've decided to clip the show in twain. Tomorrow the Dragon Con discussion will be posted all by its lonesome as a special edition of Southern Fried Gaming. Next week we'll post the remainder of the show with The Games We Play, Old School Gaming and the rest. The week after that we're back to our planned schedule. If shows seem to be running this long in the future we'll consider adopting a slightly adjusted schedule to accomodate. We're all committed to having a good, fun show that runs a reasonable length. As we get our podcasting feet under us, this will definitely become easier. Check us out tomorrow for the post!
